My kinnda luv!

Car rides with the windows down, wind blowing thru our head so its free & clear...

Barefooted in the grass, feeling at one with mother nature...

Walking along side beaches, hands loosely entwined letting waves kiss our feet...

Cuddling up in one blanket in front of the bonfire, eating popcorn...

Big kitchen with space for us to dance while cooking dinner... Hearty meals made with lots of touching & tasting...

Holding hands as we take our baby for a stroll, eyes promising passion when she's asleep...

Our stories wouldn't be written in concrete or books but in moments spent in nature...

They'd be a collection of sweet love stories each even more inspired...

Love like no other...

Want to sooo be in love with you...

Just me & you together forever! :')

Muzik Review: Gotye's Somebody I used to know

First thing that you notice about the song is the brilliant video... That in itself gets full points on creativity. :) Anybody who hasn't seen it yet, should just do so immediately on YouTube.

The song has a way of grabbing your soul. And sticks to it in a very addictive fashion. The feelings are captured beautifully in the lyrics. Its amazing how the writer has shown us glimpses of both sides of the story. You feel equally for both the lovers... I totally lurve it. :)

"Somebody That I Used To Know"

(feat. Kimbra)

[Gotye:]

Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end, always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and I feel so rough
No you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

[Kimbra:]
Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believing it was always something that I'd done
But I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know

[Gotye:]
But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and I feel so rough
And you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

[x2]
Somebody
(I used to know)
Somebody
(Now you're just somebody that I used to know)

(I used to know)
(That I used to know)
(I used to know)
Somebody

When in Mood for Strong Passion...

Posted by astuti at 9:55 PM 2 comments
First post of two thousand twelve. And I'm glad it starts with passion..! :P Hope to carry this blog through the year with a little bit of the same. :)

They say, there’s always a song for every emotion, every feeling, every heartbreak and every uplifting story!!! So here goes... These are ten songs which stir/haunt/enliven my heart, in a truly strong manner. Go ahead, check them out yourself, see if they do to you, what they do to me. :)

P.S: I have intentionally kept some of my favorite-but-more famous songs outta this list.

#1.Time Of My Life - Dirty Dancing.
It is my all time favorite. Simply put, dance and music
in perfect sync and oh-so-raunchy. The video created a sensation
that girls dream of till date!

#2.I Wanna Dance With Somebody - Whitney Houston.
This is one of my go-to song, when i am terribly low.
Kinda magical. I adore how it transforms my
otherwise boring day into a fast-paced-hit-the-dance-floor-mood.

#3.Sway - Shall We Dance?
Yea! You got it right, I do love the movies that combine
dancing and music; but I promise that's not the only kind of songs that
will be a part of this list! :)

#4.Tokyo Drift - Teriyaaki Boys.
I still remember how I walked into the theater to watch Fast and Furious
looking so bored, 'coz in my mind I knew I was seeing a guy-film-
fast cars and action! I walked out smiling coz I knew I had found a song
that would make me dance in a moment's notice for life.

#5. Mi Chica - Sarbel.
Mi Chica is recorded in a mixture of
Greek, English, Spanish, Perisan and Latin
in a style with Greek Pop Elements! There's something
super sexy about this song.

#6. Slave for you - Britney Spears.
I'm not a Britney Spears fan. But this song has always
appealed to the dancer in me!

#7. Love the way you lie - Eminem ft Rihanna.
The video is violent and yet appeals to
a basic animal instinct that's so a part of true passion!

#8. Rolling in the Deep - Adele.
Not really a dancing song, but oh-so-passionate! Adele's famous
for her words "I make music for the ears. Not the eyes."
when she was asked to loose weight!
Her voice is superb, passionate and just fabulous!

#9. Save the Best for Last - Vanessa Williams.
Slow yet one of my all time favorites till date! It is in the
truest sense, the song of my soul. Beautifully haunting,
and re-assuring! It melts my heart any given time of the day.

#10. Video Games - Lana Del Rey.
Latest addition to my loop singers is Lana Del Rey.
What soulfully haunting voice she has!
